BB Fit is by far the best gym I've been a member of. I've made more progress in my time there than with any other gym. With small group training, you're able to get coaching from the trainer to ensure you have good/correct form and they are also there to challenge and push you. The small classes also allow you to build a community with other members. I would 100% recommend this gym to anyone looking for something outside of a big box gym.

When you start at Burn It Build It Fitness, your fitness level will improve quickly, usually in the first 30 days. The key to see results is consistency and commitment over time so that’s why we recommend 3 classes per week as a start. Sign up today!
Yes! We provide guidance on eating right or sleeping well which can help maximize energy levels – getting YOU maximum results from your efforts. Sign up today!
Nope! Most of our members start just like you. We assess each new members fitness level. Then our workouts are “universally scaled”, with a different version of each days workout designed for every level. As you level up you can take on more challenging variants of the workout if you desire. Sign up today!

If you’re a beginner and just starting out then 2-4 times per week will be enough to see results and allow you to adjust.

You’ll be sore some days, so allow yourself recovery days between training sessions at first – over the course of the following months work up towards 5 days per week if you want to maximize! Sign up today!

We offer an exciting, challenging and varied programming which will keep it fun! The workouts are published in advance

Some days are more strength focused where will focus on our lifts. Movements like barbell squats, kettlebell swings and occasionally some olympics lifts will be included.

Other days, we may focus more on cardio & conditioning with rowers and bikes. Some days are focused on body weight movements like pushups, sit-ups, and pull-ups. Some days are a mix of everything. Sign up today!

Each class is 60 minutes and led by qualified coaches. We always start together with a warm-up designed to activate the muscles being used in the workout.

The coach will brief the group on the workout, the movements, and the proper form. During the workout, the coach will be guiding and providing instruction.

At the end of class, we will cool down together to accelerate recovery and reduce potential injury. Sign up today!

krystyn

Coach

Krystyn brings a dynamic combination of expertise and passion to the Burn It Build It Fitness team. A proud North Carolina native, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Western North Carolina University. Currently, Krystyn is furthering her education by pursuing a Master’s in Exercise Science & Wellness with a concentration in Fitness & Performance.

Certified through USA Weightlifting, Krystyn has 4 years of experience in personal and group training, specializing in weightlifting and sprint mechanics. She has worked extensively with young soccer teams, sharing insights gained from her own 18 years of competitive soccer, which include four conference championship titles and a State Cup Championship title.

Krystyn’s love for fitness began over a decade ago, and her journey took on new meaning after moving to Louisiana. There, she discovered her passion for helping clients of all ages—ranging from 7 to 70+—achieve goals they once thought were out of reach, whether they were new to the gym or seasoned athletes.

Outside of training, Krystyn is dedicated to empowering others to unlock their potential and thrive both on and off the field. With her science-driven approach and personal experience, she’s ready to inspire and support you every step of the way!

Spencer

Coach

Hailing from Rockford, IL, Spencer brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the Burn It Build It Fitness team. Certified through NASM and holding a degree in kinesiology with a minor in business administration from Rockford University, Spencer is equipped with the expertise to help members achieve their fitness goals.

Spencer’s fitness journey began as a personal mission to lose weight, but it quickly evolved into a passion for helping others, leading him to pursue a career in fitness. His relatable story and commitment to health and wellness inspire those around him.

When he’s not coaching, Spencer enjoys spending time outdoors, whether hiking scenic trails or enjoying a relaxing day on the lake. He’s also an avid runner, training for marathons, and a big fan of Sunday football.

Spencer’s approach to fitness is built on motivation, education, and creating a supportive environment where everyone can succeed. Catch one of his classes or one-on-one sessions to experience his enthusiasm and expertise firsthand!

Sky

Coach

Meet Sky, our new trainer at Burn It Build It Fitness! Sky is nationally certified through NASM and brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to our team. Born and raised in Orlando, FL, she enjoys the outdoors and hiking. A self-described gym rat, Sky is eager to share her passion for fitness, stemming from her own inspiring transformation.

As a teenager, Sky weighed 175 lbs and struggled with confidence. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she revamped her eating habits and, inspired by her uncle, began lifting weights. The positive changes she saw in her body fueled her motivation, and she swiftly transformed into a fit and confident 135 lbs. Sky’s journey has instilled in her a deep understanding of the challenges and rewards of fitness, and she is excited to help others achieve their goals.

Eric

Coach

Eric is a passionate fitness enthusiast and sports management professional who graduated from Western Colorado University in 2023 with a major in Exercise Sport Science and an emphasis in Sports and Fitness Management, coupled with a minor in Business Law. A former collegiate track athlete specializing in the 60m, 100m, 200m, and 4x100m events, Eric brings his dedication and expertise to his pursuits in the fitness industry. Beyond his professional endeavors, Eric enjoys spending quality time with his dog, indulging in offroading adventures, carving up the slopes snowboarding, mastering tricks on his skateboard, conquering trails on his mountain bike, constructing intricate Lego creations, and pushing his limits in the gym through weightlifting sessions.

Sherman

Coach

Sherman is a Certified Personal Trainer, Nutritionist, and Fitness Coach with a background in NCAA Division 1 sprinting at Western Michigan University. His fitness journey began during recovery from a hamstring injury, leading him to research and eventually coach with running clubs in Michigan and Arizona. Transitioning to personal training in Ibiza in 2019, he adapted to online training during the pandemic before seeking one-on-one interactions with clients. Sherman found his fitness home at Burn It Build It Fitness, where he brings his infectious energy and expertise to motivate clients of all ages and fitness levels, focusing on proper form, exercise, and nutrition for overall health and well-being.

Cameron

Coach

Cameron, our powerhouse trainer at Burn It Build It Fitness. With a background in Kinesiology from the University of HI and over five years of professional experience, Cameron brings a wealth of expertise to every session. Coupled with his collegiate baseball experience, he knows what it takes to excel both on and off the field. His decade-long personal commitment to health and wellness makes him your go-to guru for all things fitness. When he’s not sculpting muscles in the gym, you can find him hanging out with his dynamic duo of furry friends, Kamea and MJ. Get ready to crush your goals with Cameron by your side!

Laura

Partner / Coach

Laura has extensive experience in the area of fitness both as a player and as a coach. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). She worked as a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level for 5 Conference Championship teams including 4 Olympians, 12 NCAA All-Americans and a National Player of the Year just to name a few.

Laura has taught Nutrition, Bio Mechanics, Weight Training, Anatomy and Physiology at the university level. For 2 years she worked as a Semi-Pro Strength and Conditioning coach working with minor league players who eventually feed into the Major League Soccer teams–most notably the Real Salt Lake team.

Since nutrition is an essential part of being healthy, Laura has become certified to teach the Precision Nutrition program. This program was developed by John Berardi who has created the field of exercise nutrition. Thousands of athletes and individuals have used this program to get into the best shape of their lives and stay that way.

As a collegiate athlete Laura was a point guard and made 4 NCAA Tournament appearances. Laura also was an NSCA All-American. She played basketball overseas in Paris, Amsterdam and Belgium. Her team was ranked in the Top 25 for 3 years and she was awarded the prestigious Leona Holbrook Award at the end of her college career.

Laura has a Bachelors Degree in Exercise Science and has double Master Degrees in Counseling and Educational Leadership. Her minor is in Coaching. She coached at the collegiate level for 6 years before switching to the fitness industry where she has been for the past 13 years.
