About Abbey

Abbey

Fitness has been a part of my life since I was very young. I started off as a figure skater where I represented the US at the Norway ‘94 Olympic Games. After a devastating injury, I turned to speed skating. Again, I was lucky to represent the US and became a World Champion Gold medalist ranking 2nd in the world. After I retired from my skating career I turned to fitness. I trained Team USA Men’s Hockey in plyometrics, speed and agility, and power skating. I’ve been a trainer for over 15 years and have enjoyed helping people reach their goals. In 2014, I was diagnosed with brain cancer. After beating cancer not once but twice, I needed to battle my own weight gain that occurred. I have lost over 50lbs and am working to get back where I once was. I am an IFPA Pro and love hanging with my family and dogs!
